July 19, 2005~Tuesday

I arrived safely in Vermont with no problems.....I had no trouble switching planes at all! :) Which was a big relief! My plane from Washington DC was only delayed about 20 minutes. But that was no problem at all! :) Everything went pretty quick from there! I got off the plane and went to the bathroom real quick and then went to find Ruth, Fauna and Lydia! We then went to Ruth's house. Ruth's brothers Seth and Mark Levi (Levi) stopped by the house on the way home from Burlington. We ordered out Chinese for dinner! Mark came home for dinner around 8 pm. We ate dinner and then Mark read from the New Testament in Romans as we all listened. Soon after that Mark went to bed and Ruth, Fauna and I played a card game and then headed to bed ourselves. We were all pretty tired! :)

July 20, 2005~ Wednesday

Today was a busy day! We got up fairly early (this was the day the sun and birds woke me up!) I got a shower and got cleaned up! Then we ate a breakfast of scrambled eggs with sausage and cheese mixed in with them! They were good! :) I am normally not much for eggs! But those were good! ;) After breakfast Mark read from the Bible from the Old Testament in Samuel. After that we all got ready to go outlet shopping! :) We drove up to Lake George, NY (a touristy town, very cute though) There we got an old timey picture taken.....It turned out good. I might be able to scan it in and put on LJ! :) I need to find a picture frame for it soon! :) After that we walked around Lake George a little more and then headed to Glens Falls. On the way there we stopped at the Carter's outlet. There I bought the most adorable little stuffed bunny. It is so very soft! :) Anna loves it! After a while shopping we stopped at A & W for lunch! I had a chili cheese dog. After lunch we stopped at Peter Harris to try on the ugly clothes! That was pretty interesting! :) From there we went to the Mall. :) We went in several shops in there (can't remember them all). lol  we went in Claire's! I bought a bar clip from there and it works much better than my old one! After we were done in Claire's Fauna's Aunt and siblings came to get Fauna. They ended up going to see a movie. Ruth and I shopped at Target for a while.....mostly for Mark's birthday gifts! After that we headed back to Ruth's house.

July 21, 2005~Thursday

Today I got up about 8 am! Got showered and cleaned up! Then we walked down the street to Mark's Grandmother's house (Beppa's house) for coffee. That is where I met most of Mark's family. After that we came home and had crochet lessons. After a while Mark came home for lunch around 3 pm I think. We had Chinese leftovers! After that we got ready and went to Ruth's parents house (The McLaughlins) in Port Henry, NY (across Lake Champlain). We visited there a while before going to the store to get some cookies real quick at the store and then heading to Ruth's Aunt's house on Lake Champlain. She had very pretty property. It was a log cabin overlooking Lake Champlain. Around 7 pm Valerie, Sharyl and Fauna showed up. Shortly after we all took a walk down to the water. After a while we came home and had a birthday party for Mark. (his real birthday was July 19). After the birthday party we went in the living room for Bible reading in Romans and to talk.

July 22, 2005~Friday

Today we got up showered and went to Beppa's house for coffee and cake.....from there we left for Waterbury, VT where the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream factory is. After that we went to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill store. I'm sure if Mom was there she would have loved that store. I bought some things there. A Vermont hot pad (with a moose on it, in that area there is supposed to be alot of moose though we didn't see any! :( I also bought some Vermont Maple syrup there! After we went to the Trapp Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. It was thunderstorming while we were there. We only looked in the gift store and went to the tea house for dessert. I got white chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake. We headed back to Ruth's house on the way we stopped at a store in Vergennes (about 10 minutes from where Ruth lives). After dinner we went to Goodies for ice cream. I got a blueberry smoothie. The lady that made it said it was the prettiest one she ever made. We came home and watched Napoleon Dynamite. After the movie did evening Bible reading in Romans. Then went to bed. On the way home from ice cream we stopped at the dairy barn where all the cows are kept. Outside the barn the calves are kept in little plastic houses! :)

July 23, 2005~Saturday

Got up got a shower and then went to Beppa's house for coffee again. After that headed to the Airport. Every one was so happy to see me! And I admit it feels good to be home! It is nice to travel but it is a good feeling to feel missed! Mom said that Anna cried for me a couple times. And then Amy said it felt like I had been gone 2 weeks instead of 5 days! :) I love travel and hope to be able to fly again when I feel like I need to get away! Maybe next time I will fly to Indiana to visit Victoria L.  Thanks Ruth again for having me! It was so nice to meet you, Mark and Lydia! I hope that you will come visit us sometime! :) I had so much fun there!
